The film reveals that the being calling itself Solomon is actually the Demon God Goetia, formerly the original Solomon's familiar before possessing his corpse and evolving into Beast I. Goetia is angry that humans are afflicted by the inevitability of death and plans to use the incineration of humanity to create a new world where death doesn't exist. Romani later reveals himself to be the real Solomon, having been summoned by Marisbury Animusphere to fight in the 2004 Fuyuki Holy Grail War—the Fourth Holy Grail War in Fate/stay night canon. He used his wish on the Holy Grail to become human, a process enabled by his Noble Phantasm Ars Nova. He kept his tenth ring, which is the key to Ars Nova; without it, the Noble Phantasm cannot be used. He casts Ars Nova, returning all his gifts to God and causing all of his achievements to disappear, greatly weakening Goetia. The Time Temple begins to collapse after Solomon's sacrifice, and the Demon Gods are thrown into disarray.
In Their Own Story
As Ritsuka and Mash Rayshift to the final Singularity, they see a vision of someone speaking of how they cannot bear the endless suffering of humanity due to their clairvoyance exposing them to all horrors of past and future. They decide the only way to rectify the world is to destroy humanity and recreate the planet from its origin, requiring energy from incinerating all life across 3000 years. Waking up, they find themselves at the Time Temple. Lev Lainur Flauros appears, transforms into his Demon God form, and along with the other seventy one Demon Gods attacks Chaldea. Jeanne D'Arc suddenly arrives, using Ritsuka as a beacon to summon an entire army of Heroic Spirits. The Heroic Spirits open a path for Ritsuka and Mash toward the Throne. At the Throne, Goetia reveals his plan and uses his third Noble Phantasm, Ars Almadel Salomis. Mash attempts to block it with Lord Camelot but is incinerated, leaving only her shield. Romani arrives, reveals himself as the real Solomon, and uses Ars Nova. Ritsuka defeats Goetia with a punch empowered by a Command Spell. During the credits, it is revealed that Fou revived Mash, which allowed her to rescue Ritsuka.
